Analyst bios

  • Amir Rozwadowski joined Barclays in September 2008 and is a managing director and senior research analyst leading the firm's equity research efforts in U.S. telecom services and communications infrastructure. With 15+ years experience following the TMT sector, Amir previously led the firm's equity research efforts in U.S. clean technology as well as served as a senior analyst in the communications equipment space at both Barclays and Lehman Brothers. Across his research career, Amir and his teams have consistently ranked as one of the top practices on Wall Street by various industry surveys including Institutional Investor magazine's All-America Research Team most recently in the communications infrastructure arena. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers' research department in 2004, Amir was with the research department of Janney Montgomery Scott and a technology investment banker at Lehman Brothers.

  • Kannan Venkateshwar joined Barclays in September 2008 and is currently a director covering the U.S. cable & satellite communications sector. Kannan has over 10 years of experience across corporate and investment banking. Prior to joining Barclays, Kannan was with Lehman Brothers working on cross asset strategy research and responsible for publishing relative value trade ideas between debt and equity, equity options, and convertible bonds. Prior to Lehman, Kannan worked at Bank of America and Citigroup in corporate banking, both as a credit officer for large corporates and on the relationship management side in India. Kannan earned a B.A. in Economics from University of Madras, India and an M.B.A. from the Darden School, University of Virginia. Kannan also has a post graduate diploma in management from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

  • Raimo Lenschow is a director and analyst within equity research. Raimo is responsible for coverage of the U.S. software industry. Prior to his current position, he covered the European software sector for more than 10 years. Raimo joined Barclays in 2010 from Merrill Lynch, where he held a similar role for nine years and was consistently ranked in the top three in both the Institutional Investor's and the Extel survey. Raimo earned a Master of Finance (German equivalent) from the University Leipzig and is also a CFA charterholder.
