The triggering of Article 50 in March this year started the clock ticking on the two-year negotiation period to formalise the arrangements for the UK’s relationship with the European Union following the June 2016 ‘leave’ vote.

To help make sense of the Brexit process, the potential outcomes, as well as the broader economic implications, our Research team has created a comprehensive Brexit chart book, including timelines and what we see as the key macroeconomic data boiled down into 27 charts across two informative pages. While we’ve previously covered how central banks may look to deal with the UK’s departure, and some broad estimations on the economic impact on both the UK and the EU, this represents our first comprehensive data package designed to consolidate and synthesize the key information to help contextualise the forthcoming exit.
