If you are in the back of one of New York’s yellow taxis or watching NYC TV over the next few months, chances are that you will see Barclays’ Joshua Levine.
Produced by the Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities (MOPD), the video above is part of the ‘NYC at Work’ campaign, which kicked off at the start of National Disability Awareness month in October 2015. In it, Joshua describes how he copes with his hearing disability, and often uses it to his professional advantage, while managing a demanding career as Business Manager, Equities Distribution at Barclays Investment Bank.
Joshua is a passionate disability inclusion advocate in the business community and sits on the rapidly expanding MOPD Business Development Council as a ‘Champion for Change’. He is also an ambassador for our #ThisIsMe colleague engagement campaign, a Barclays-wide program that aims to challenge perceptions about disability in the workplace.
